The concert program consists of two parts. In the first part, Hien Nguyen Soprano and Quoc Dat perform chamber songs and classic musical excerpts.

The highlight of part 1 is the combination of Vietnamese artists and the piano accompaniment of Professor Gianni Kriscak from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria).

In the second part, Hien Nguyen Soprano and Quoc Dat tried their hand at performing semi-classical music in a youthful and novel style. The audience commented that the performances such as Grass and Rain, The Most Beautiful Summer, Peace, Caruso, Besame Mucho, Je t'aime, My Way... were not too academic but were close and easy to enjoy for many general audiences.

Some performances, such as the musical La Cenerentola (Cinderella), bring viewers joyful scenes, witty and creative situations, different from the traditional style often seen in this art form.

Sharing at the music night, Hien Nguyen Soprano and Quoc Dat said that besides the careers of mainstream classical artists, they want to reach a more diverse audience, conquering listeners that "opera is not difficult to listen to, on the contrary, it is very emotional and entertaining".

Quoc Dat also created a positive effect on the audience at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House with his performances in the style of a "pop singer". For 2 hours, he maintained a strong breath, conquering many classic lyrical musicals of Vietnam and the world.

Previously, Quoc Dat won the First Prize of the 2023 National Chamber Music Voice Competition, and performed in Perugia and Sorrento - two cities known as the "opera cradle" of Italy. Possessing a powerful baritone voice and a unique fashion sense, he promises to be a breath of fresh air in the classical music field.

During the introduction of the La Passione concert, Mr. Enrico Padula - Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City - shared that the La Passione concert is an opportunity to connect the cultures between Vietnam and Italy.

"Music, in addition to being an art form, is also a powerful means of connection and this event is a testament to that, especially in the context of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City," said Mr. Enrico Padula.
