3 Party cells of the Industry and Trade Newspaper Party Committee successfully organized the congress

The Party Committee of the Industry and Trade Newspaper has 3 affiliated Party cells with Party members of the Party cells having good moral qualities, being exemplary, having a firm and steadfast political ideology, and being conscious of implementing the Party's guidelines, policies, the State's laws, and the working regulations of the agency and unit.

During the 2022-2025 term, under the direction of the Party Committee of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the party members in cells 1, 2, and 3 all fulfilled their assigned political tasks well, contributing to creating qualitative changes in the newspaper's publications, enhancing the reputation of a newspaper that is the mouthpiece of a multi-sectoral ministry...

Although each Party cell has different characteristics and political tasks, the Party Committees of all Party cells actively direct Party members to enhance their proactive spirit, promote multimedia communication and have achieved comprehensive results in propaganda work as well as press economic development.

Promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence

Attending and giving a speech at the congress of Party cells, Comrade Nguyen Van Minh - Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Industry and Trade Newspaper - acknowledged the achievements of the Party cells in the past term and pointed out the shortcomings that need to be overcome and strived for in the coming term. The Party Secretary gave specific directions to each Party cell, Party work needs to be associated with specific tasks, avoiding generalities, demonstrating the leadership role of the Party cell and Party Committee with the professional work of departments and divisions. At the same time, the Editor-in-Chief gave important directions such as digital transformation, application of artificial intelligence... in work.

At the 3rd Party Cell Congress, the Editor-in-Chief of the Industry and Trade Newspaper emphasized, “ The Congress marks a new turning point for the Party Cell as well as the Industry and Trade Newspaper as we look towards 80 years of tradition of the Industry and Trade Newspaper and Party Congresses at all levels. At the same time, we have been witnessing the reform of the organizational apparatus, bringing the country into an era of growth. The Industry and Trade Newspaper is facing many advantages, but also many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the Congress is to propose policies and leadership solutions throughout the term, so that the subordinate units under the leadership of the Party Cell can fulfill their tasks well .”

Highly appreciating the report on results as well as the direction and tasks for the new term. However, comrade Nguyen Van Minh pointed out some important issues regarding the functions and tasks of the Party cells.

“ Therefore, in the next term, we need to be determined to renew the model with 3 Party cells, but these are 3 models associated with different political tasks. Party cell 1 is the administrative, office, and accounting block; Party cell 2 gathers Party members in the content block; Party cell 3 gathers Party members working in the economic and press block ,” Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh directed.

In addition, the Editor-in-Chief of the Industry and Trade Newspaper has given important directions for the coming period, especially promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence in journalism and party development, and increasing the recruitment of young party members.

According to Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Van Minh, in addition to professional tasks, Party building is always a key task of the Party cell. In particular, developing young Party members is of strategic significance, ensuring the succession and sustainable development of the Party organization in the unit.

At the same time, the Editor-in-Chief of Cong Thuong Newspaper said that in the context of rapid technological development, digital transformation is an inevitable trend, opening up huge opportunities for the journalism sector.

The Editor-in-Chief suggested increasing the application of digital technology in news/article production, helping to improve operational efficiency and reach readers faster and more widely. To perform this task well, each cadre and party member needs to proactively improve their qualifications, adapt to the digital working environment, and be more creative in their working methods.

Continue to innovate and improve quality

Speaking at the Party Cell Congress 1, comrade Nguyen Tien Cuong - Member of the Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Party Cell 1 (term 2022-2025), Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the Trade Union of Industry and Trade Newspaper - said that the Party Cell Congress for the term 2025-2027 is an important and extensive political activity among all Party members with the task of looking straight at the truth to review and objectively and comprehensively evaluate achievements and weaknesses and shortcomings.

At the same time, draw lessons from the implementation of Party work tasks in the past time. From there, set out directions, goals, and tasks to build Party cells that are strong in politics, ideology, and organization, closely connected with all cadres, civil servants, and workers, and improve the Party's leadership capacity and the fighting strength of the Party Committee in the coming term.

Regarding Party building work, Party cells conduct monthly Party cell meetings regularly and seriously in accordance with the Party Charter. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of the meeting content, Party cells pay special attention and always think about finding practical meeting content to integrate with the best implementation of assigned tasks.

Regarding agency building, leaders of mass organizations and Party cells always closely follow the direction of continuing to innovate and improve the quality of political activities for the activities of mass organizations in the agency.

At the same time, promote the role of the Youth Union, the Journalists Association... in uniting and gathering; perform well the role of representatives, protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members, members of the Journalists Association...

Although certain results have been achieved, the Party cells have frankly admitted that there are still many limitations, because the comrades in the Party cell have to do professional work concurrently. In addition, they have not really found a way to create an open and exciting atmosphere in Party cell meetings.
