Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper reported that on December 19, the Gia Lai Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine confirmed that it had successfully controlled the African swine fever outbreak in Mun and Van villages, Ia Ly town, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province.

After detecting the outbreak, the authorities coordinated with local authorities to contain and thoroughly handle the situation using measures such as disinfection, warning signs, and preventing the spread of the disease.

At the same time, the selection of breeding stock must have a clear origin and quality, and all newly imported pigs must be quarantined and closely monitored before being re-herded.
