Delegates attending the meeting represented over 90 enterprises, cooperatives, production and business households in the fields of accommodation, restaurants, commercial services, tourism, transportation, business, production and processing of food and foodstuffs in the province.

According to information from the Provincial People's Committee, preparations for serving tourists and people on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024 and important events in the province have been urgently implemented. To successfully organize activities and create an impression of a friendly and hospitable Dien Bien, the province needs the coordination of production and service business units.

Representatives of production and service business units in the province participated in many opinions, recommendations and proposals. Some opinions said that the quality of tourism human resources in Dien Bien is very lacking and weak, and needs to be adjusted; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should build a unified itinerary for visiting historical sites for tourists, creating connections between sites; strengthen price management of food products and transportation services; introduce and promote the province's typical products to tourists. Transport companies and taxi companies also expressed many opinions on preventing illegal buses and bus stations; promoting Dien Bien tourism on passenger transport vehicles; considering adding suitable stops and pick-up and drop-off points in Dien Bien Phu City... In addition, the units also agreed on improving the quality, keeping service and product prices, not increasing prices during peak seasons, not "ripping off" tourists...

Representatives of production and service business units in the province signed a commitment to strictly implement regulations in the fields of production, business, trade, services, tourism, transportation, accommodation, etc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do suggested that, in addition to the opinions at the conference, production and service business units continue to provide feedback to agencies in each field or through the Dien Bien Smart application. Enterprises, organizations, cooperatives, and business households also need to strictly implement the provisions of law related to the industry, field, activities, production, business and the commitments that the units have signed.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the departments, branches of the province, Dien Bien Phu City and Dien Bien District, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to continue to focus on accelerating the completion of works serving the anniversary; to implement the restoration and embellishment of works and relic sites in the province to ensure quality and efficiency in accordance with regulations, and to promptly put them into use to serve the anniversary. At the same time, launch a movement to ensure environmental sanitation, build urban aesthetics; guide people to build a civilized lifestyle and cultural behavior towards tourists... The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the units to proactively monitor the preparation of logistics and facilities, promptly review and report to competent authorities on arising issues for timely handling and resolution during the implementation process...
