This morning, September 10, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Peace Festival to evaluate the organization of the 2024 Peace Festival. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Peace Festival Hoang Nam chaired the meeting.
Up to now, the 6 main activities of the 2024 Peace Festival and 8 response activities before, during and after the festival have been organized with quality, creating highlights associated with the festival's goals and having strong influence.

The direction and management of the organization of the 2024 Peace Festival has been associated with the political tasks of departments, branches, localities, agencies and units, achieving positive results.
Proactive propaganda work, one step ahead, creates interest and response from all levels, sectors and people, contributing to the great success of the festival.
Security and order work; facilities, logistics, and services for festival activities are well organized and meet requirements.
It can be affirmed that the initial goal of the Festival for Peace has been successful beyond expectations, raising the national and international level. The work of repaying gratitude and showing gratitude through festival activities mobilizes participation on a large scale and in large numbers.
The propaganda and promotion of the historical and cultural values of Quang Tri people attracted a large number of visitors to Quang Tri, initially building a cultural space and destination for the Festival For Peace.
Through the festival, it has left an impression, touched the emotions of many people and received great support from central ministries, branches, localities, diplomatic agencies abroad...
The 2024 Peace Festival took place safely and economically, achieving the set target of over 60% socialization. However, the connection to exploit tourism development and build Quang Tri's own tourism products is still limited, not achieving the set target.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam raised the issue of what to do after the festival and how to build a set of criteria to identify and spread the value of the land with the aspiration for peace, linking the Festival for Peace with the goal of developing tourism, making tourism a key economic sector. From there, build, shape and orient activities for the next Festival for Peace.
The most important thing is what to do after the festival and what impact the festival has on the prosperous development of the homeland, especially stimulating tourism development, promoting trade and investment.
Accordingly, to prepare for the next successful festival, it is necessary to elevate the culture of gratitude to create a highlight of the festival that contributes to promoting local socio-economic development.
Assign the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to synthesize the opinions of the delegates at the meeting to complete the report to prepare the summary of the 2024 Peace Festival. Analyze and evaluate to clarify the results achieved, the shortcomings and limitations of the 2024 Peace Festival, thereby advising and proposing to the provincial leaders some solutions to organize the festival more effectively.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is in charge of developing plans, resources, and infrastructure to serve the festival, and mobilizing social resources to organize the next Festival for Peace.
