On March 24, at Bau Trang Tourist Area (Bac Binh), Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Stop And Sports Company Limited to organize the Vietnam FesTRIval Binh Thuan 2024 tournament.

In the 2024 season, Vietnam FesTRival Binh Thuan attracted nearly 500 athletes from 19 countries to compete in 2 distances. The 70.3 km distance includes a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, 21.1 km run and the 56.5 km distance includes a 950 m swim, 45 km bike ride, 10.55 km run. The athletes started swimming at Bau Trang Lake, then cycled and ran along Hoa Thang and Hoa Phu routes in Hoa Thang Commune (Bac Binh), Phan Ri Cua Town (Tuy Phong) and finished at Bau Trang Minh Thai Tourist Area.
The slopes - sun - wind of Binh Thuan are a true challenge in line with the spirit of "breaking all limits" that every triathlete always aims for, contributing to an attractive and interesting tournament.
Mr. Huynh Quang Tuan - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said: Swimming on Bau Trang Lake - a freshwater lake with a natural sand bottom is one of the special highlights of the tournament compared to other triathlons in Vietnam and around the world. Cycling and jogging on the road along Bau Trang beach - one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam with undulating white sand dunes on one side and a long coastline on the other. With challenging competition conditions and impressive scenery here, it will contribute to promoting the beautiful image of Binh Thuan to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. At the same time, the tournament will encourage local movements, promoting the spirit of physical exercise in the community.
In addition, the Organizing Committee, in collaboration with Vietnam Sportsphoto and Enjoy Sport, contributed photo revenue to Operation Smile Vietnam - a fundraising organization for surgery for children with lip defects, giving them the opportunity to have a bright smile.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third prizes and prizes for athletes over 40 years old in each distance. Specifically, the 56.5 km distance: athlete Aleksandra Grafova won first place in the women's category, Trinh Vu Anh Huy won first place in the men's category; in the women's category over 40 years old, athlete Phan Thi Hen won first place; in the men's category over 40 years old, athlete Pierre Touron won first place. The 70.3 km distance: athlete Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong won first place in the women's category, Le Nhat Tai won first place in the men's category; in the men's category over 40 years old, athlete Phan Tan Cuong won first place.
