Nearly 2,000 students receive career counseling and admissions

High school students in Thai Nguyen city receive career counseling, enrollment, and job referrals.

The program was jointly organized by the City Youth Union - Thai Nguyen City Youth Union, Thai Nguyen University Youth Union, Thai Nguyen University Student Association and Ngo Quyen High School on the morning of March 31.

The event took place in the context of a rapidly developing digital society and digital technology. This is also the first class of students studying under the 2018 General Education Program, preparing to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. Changes in university admission methods and labor market requirements require students to have a clear orientation about their career and employment from an early age.

The program has the participation of nearly 20 consulting units, including: Thai Nguyen Industrial Park Service Center, University of Economics and Business Administration (Thai Nguyen University), ICO Education and Vocational Training Group - Thai Nguyen Branch, Tuan Kiet Chinese Language Center, TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, FPT Polytechnic College Thai Nguyen campus, Hashi Vietnam International Cooperation Joint Stock Company...

By participating in the program, students have the opportunity to meet and exchange directly with representatives of universities, colleges and businesses to learn about study conditions, scholarships and international joint training programs; update information on the domestic and foreign labor market and current employment policies.

The City Youth Union, the Youth Union, and the Young Pioneers' Council of Thai Nguyen City cooperated with career counseling units to award scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties to study well.

In addition, the program also includes sessions on necessary skills when participating in job interviews, helping students answer questions about choosing a suitable career for themselves. Through this, students can confidently orient their career path in the future.

On this occasion, the City Youth Union, the Youth Union, and the Young Pioneers Council of Thai Nguyen City coordinated with career counseling units to award 10 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND) and many attractive gifts to students and youth union members with difficult circumstances who have made great achievements in their studies and lives.
