If the upcoming Galaxy S25 series only uses Qualcomm chipsets, Samsung is expected to bring back the high-end Exynos chip on the Galaxy S26 series.
Accordingly, leaked information revealed: Samsung Foundry's 3nm productivity is said to be too low for them to produce Exynos 2500 at the scale required by the mobile division, so the company has to buy expensive Snapdragon 8 Elite chips for the Galaxy S25 series.
However, leaker Ice Universe also said that Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2500 chip for the Galaxy Z Flip7 series to reduce production costs.
It's also no surprise that Samsung hasn't given up on using its high-end Exynos chipset for its Galaxy S flagship series.
Previously, leaker Ice Universe revealed that Samsung is considering using Snapdragon chips exclusively for the Galaxy S26 series to bring good performance as well as excellent power efficiency and the high-end Exynos chip will only reappear on the Galaxy S27 series.
However, recent sources have hinted that the Galaxy S26 series may appear with two different chip variants, depending on the market they land in.
However, the above information is still just a rumor and Samsung may change its plans in the near future.
