Eaton appoints 'female general' in charge of Vietnam market

DNVN - On October 1, smart energy management company Eaton announced the appointment of Ms. Tran Mai Huong as Country Director, Eaton Electrical Division in Vietnam and responsible for implementing Eaton's business strategy in Vietnam.

On the same day, Eaton also announced that it will open a new office in Hanoi. The office will serve as a strategic hub for Eaton's operations in Vietnam.

The office will house a team of experts dedicated to providing comprehensive support to customers in various industrial sectors, from power distribution and control to energy-saving technology. Along with the Hanoi office, Eaton also has an office in Ho Chi Minh City serving customers in the rapidly growing southern region.

Ms. Huong has more than 20 years of experience in the field of information technology.

“As Vietnamese businesses increasingly look for new ways to drive sustainability, Eaton’s smart energy management solutions will help them succeed in using sustainable energy sources, saving energy, and managing efficiency throughout the production cycle,” said Ms. Tran Mai Huong, Country Manager for Vietnam, Electrical Division of Eaton. “Furthermore, with the new office in Hanoi now in operation, we will be in closer contact with customers, providing comprehensive support faster and better.”

Eaton was founded in 1911 and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It reported revenue of $23.2 billion in 2023 and serves customers in more than 160 countries.
