Digital transformation connects communities, spreads family cultural values

The event is meant to unite the clans in Xuan Trach, connect the Nguyen business community in Hanoi with the locality, and at the same time make practical contributions to the activities of the clan business clubs.

Xuan Trach Village, Xuan Canh Commune, Dong Anh District has long been famous as a land rich in historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions. Xuan Trach Communal House and Temple were ranked as architectural and artistic relics by the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1996. The traditional festival of Xuan Trach Village takes place on the 10th day of the third lunar month every year to commemorate the merits of the village's tutelary god - Xa Than Quoc Cao Minh Son, the fifth son of the 17th Hung King (Hung Nghi Vuong) and Duc Mau - a native of Xuan Trach Village. This is one of the eight typical festivals of Dong Anh District. Nearly 30 clans living here always preserve and promote the tradition of building their clans and homeland.

Going back in history, Xuan Trach is proud to be the place that was chosen as the Central Party's safe zone before the August Revolution, and at the same time was the place of activities of many leaders and senior leaders such as Truong Chinh, Hoang Quoc Viet, Van Tien Dung, Hoang Van Thu, Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho, Le Dinh Thiep. Xuan Trach is also proud to be the place where the fourth Party cell was established in Dong Anh district, directly under the Central Party's safe zone in September 1944.

This is the hometown of many outstanding people such as: Major General of the Vietnam People's Army Dao Huy Vu - First Commander of the Armored Corps; Professor, Doctor of Geophysics Nguyen Dinh Xuyen; Doctor - Colonel Bui Tuan Anh - Director of the Institute of Weapons, Ministry of National Defense, who was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize; Doctor of Music Bui Cong Thanh... and many other outstanding individuals.

The Nguyen Family Business Club in Hanoi gathers businessmen in the city, operating with the motto: building a family business culture (looking back to the roots, genealogy, mutual love, volunteering for the community); developing member economy.

With the spirit of returning to the roots, the Club organized an exchange program - twinning with clans in Xuan Trach on the occasion of the traditional festival, bringing practical values, honoring the beauty of local culture, promoting the image of a renewed Xuan Trach; at the same time bringing agricultural products, necessities to serve the people, sharing initiatives to develop the clan and local economy based on the potential of the Club ecosystem.

The program also demonstrated great determination from the Club's Provisional Executive Committee, represented by Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang - Head of the Organizing Committee, in connecting members back to their hometowns who have made positive contributions to the Club.

The event was successfully held with the participation of Party cell leaders, local mass organizations such as the Association of the Elderly, the Veterans Association, the Women's Union, the Youth Union, representatives of the Xuan Trach clans and more than 30 businessmen of the Nguyen Clan Club in Hanoi.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Viet Chuan, representing the Nguyen Dac - Viet Xuan Trach clan, and Mr. Bui Bang Vuong, Head of the Bui Van - Xuan Trach clan council, shared about the work of building the family genealogy, the benefits and difficulties, and expressed the desire to apply technology to digital transformation of genealogy, concerns and initiatives to develop the local economy, and create jobs for children in the village.

According to him, this is a specific contribution to the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and is also a breakthrough goal of the Party Committee, the council of clans and the people of Xuan Trach.

The Hung Gia Initiative – Digital transformation of genealogy, modernization of clan and village community activities is an advanced technological product, imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, owned by Xuan Trach people, developed by engineers from the University of Science and Technology and has been registered for intellectual property rights. The initiative is receiving comprehensive cooperation from specialized units such as the UNESCO Center for Research on Vietnamese Clan Culture and the Institute of Clan History. The project not only opens up job opportunities for local people, but also brings sustainable economic and cultural benefits, and can spread to sister villages across the country.

On this occasion, Mr. Hai also proposed that the clans in Xuan Trach unite to establish a Liaison Committee of the clans in Xuan Trach village, with the advice of the Director of the UNESCO Center for Research on Vietnamese Clan Culture, to play an increasingly active role in preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of the clans in their homeland. The Hanoi Nguyen Clan Business Club will be a partner accompanying the locality on this journey.
