17 projects put into use to prevent grid overload in Ha Tinh

Leaders of Ha Tinh Electricity Company inspect the construction project of the power grid.

From the fourth quarter of 2024 and the first 3 months of 2025, Ha Tinh Electricity Company will implement 17 investment projects to build power grids in the area.

Of which, 10 anti-overload projects were implemented, including construction and renovation of medium-voltage and low-voltage lines and transformer stations in districts, towns and cities across the province; 7 projects to improve the quality of medium-voltage and low-voltage grids for public transformer stations in Ky Anh town and the districts of Ky Anh, Cam Xuyen, Thach Ha, Can Loc and Huong Khe.

Some key projects include: Construction and renovation of medium-voltage and low-voltage lines and transformer stations to prevent overload, reduce power loss, and reduce the power supply radius in Ky Anh town and Ky Anh district in 2025 (scale of new construction of 3.27km of medium-voltage lines, 8 transformer stations, 17.17km of low-voltage lines); Construction and renovation of medium-voltage and low-voltage grids and transformer stations in Hong Linh town and Nghi Xuan district in 2025 (scale of new construction of 2.75km of medium-voltage lines, 7 transformer stations, 7.63km of low-voltage lines)...

To speed up the construction progress of the projects, Ha Tinh Power Company has established working groups to closely monitor, inspect the site, and urge the construction; promptly coordinate with local authorities where the projects pass through and the construction unit to handle difficulties and problems in site clearance, and implement safe and quality construction of the projects.

By March 31, 17/17 overload prevention projects had been completed, energized and put into use, achieving the set progress.

According to the leaders of Ha Tinh Electricity Company, through the invested projects, Ha Tinh's power grid will gradually be upgraded and comprehensively renovated in a synchronous and modern direction. Thereby, improving the quality of electricity, meeting the production and living needs of the people, contributing to the development of the local economy and society.
