Comrade Pham Van Thinh was elected Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee.

On January 24, the People's Council of Bac Giang province held the 24th session (special session) to decide on a number of contents related to personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

Comrades: Nguyen Thi Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Lam Thi Huong Thanh - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Nghiem Xuan Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

Also attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; member of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that personnel work is a very important content to perfect the team of key leaders of the province, contributing to improving the capacity of leadership, direction, management and comprehensive, effective and efficient operation of the provincial Party Committee and government to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Implementing the regulations on personnel work, with the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, on January 21, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee organized conferences to introduce personnel to elect the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with an absolute concentration of votes. On that basis, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued a Resolution to introduce candidates for the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong requested that the Provincial People's Council delegates promote the highest spirit of solidarity, democracy, and responsibility before the Party Committee and voters to elect the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to ensure that it is in accordance with the Party's will and the people's heart, contributing to the success of the session.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council carried out the process of removing and dismissing the 19th Provincial People's Council delegates and members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. The delegates discussed and 100% (67/67) of the delegates voted in agreement on the removal of the 19th Provincial People's Council delegate and the member of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le O Pich - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, a delegate of the Provincial People's Council in Son Dong district. Removed the member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and dismissed the duties of the 19th Bac Giang Provincial People's Council delegate for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan - Former Director of the Provincial Police, a delegate of the Provincial People's Council in Bac Giang city.

Next, the Provincial People's Council listened to the Proposal of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introducing Comrade Pham Van Thinh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission to be elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIX, 2021-2026. The delegates of the Provincial People's Council conducted a vote, the result was that Comrade Pham Van Thinh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission was elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XIX, 2021-2026 with 100% (67/67) of delegates attending the meeting in favor.
