Receiving and working with the delegation, Son La province had comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province and leaders of a number of departments, branches, and Moc Chau district.

Due to the impact of storm No. 3, the facilities of Moc Chau district suffered a lot of damage to houses, properties, crops, roads, electricity, water systems, etc., with a total loss of nearly 20 billion VND. Of which, 4 households had their houses collapsed, 7 houses had their roofs blown off, 118 houses had landslides... In Hua Pang commune alone, 3 households had their houses collapsed, 5 households had their houses severely damaged and 23 houses were at risk; more than 15 hectares of agricultural crops were damaged, 2 electric poles were broken; 16 points on intra-village and inter-village traffic routes, National Highway 43 were eroded, greatly affecting travel...

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, presented gifts to households whose houses collapsed in Hua Pang commune, Moc Chau district.

Through on-site inspection and listening to a quick report on the damage caused by storm No. 3 and the recovery work of the leaders of Son La province and Moc Chau district, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the determination of the Party committees and authorities at all levels in Son La province in flood and storm prevention and control.

He requested Son La province and Moc Chau district to continue reviewing vulnerable areas at risk of landslides and affected by floods; prepare sufficient forces and materials, and do a good job of prevention to prevent serious incidents that cause damage to people and property.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department also suggested continuing to promote the "4 on-the-spot" motto, closely following the flood situation, implementing solutions to evacuate people to safe areas if there is a risk of landslides, and taking measures to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods; doing a good job of environmental sanitation, disease prevention and control after floods; guiding people to restore agricultural production; supporting affected households to stabilize their lives soon; creating the best conditions for students to enter the new school year and enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival.
