Care about the lives of union members and workers

The Trade Union of the Tuyen Quang Market Management Department currently has 5 trade union groups with 52 union members. In recent times, the trade union has implemented many practical programs and activities to improve working conditions and enhance the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

The Provincial Market Management Department presented gifts to students of Hoa Sen Kindergarten (Tuyen Quang City).

Mr. Dao Luong Nhan, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department of Tuyen Quang Province, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union, shared that every year, the Trade Union of the Department coordinates with the government to focus on improving the lives of civil servants and workers through improving the working environment, fully implementing policies and organizing activities to care for their lives. All movements are implemented closely, from planning, assigning tasks to summarizing, ensuring practical effectiveness.

In 2024, the Department's Trade Union carried out many meaningful activities such as visiting sick union members with a total amount of 6.6 million VND; giving gifts to union members' children on International Children's Day June 1 worth 4.9 million VND; supporting Tet gifts for the year of Giap Thin with an amount of 27 million VND. These supports have brought joy and great encouragement to union members, especially those in difficult circumstances.

The union also coordinates with the professional department to fully implement policies for union members and employees, such as: salary increase, social insurance, health insurance, training and professional development. These policies not only ensure legal rights but also create conditions for cadres and civil servants to develop comprehensively, meeting increasingly high work requirements.

Promote women's movement and social activities

In addition to taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members, the Trade Union of the Market Management Department also pays special attention to the women's movement. 100% of female union members have registered and achieved the title of "Good at public work, good at housework", associated with the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean" and the movement "Building Tuyen Quang women with intelligence, responsibility for family and community, and aspiration to rise up".

The Women's Union coordinated to organize activities to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8) and the founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20), with a total budget of more than 4.8 million VND. These activities have created a useful playground, encouraging the spirit of women, contributing to raising awareness of gender equality, building a cultural family and the role of women in modern society.

The provincial Market Management Department coordinated with sponsors to give necessities to people affected by storm No. 3 in Yen Son district.

The Trade Union of the Market Management Department also actively participates in charity and social activities. In 2024, the Trade Union mobilized union members to support social funds with a total amount of more than 37 million VND, including the "Trade Union Shelter", "Children's Support Fund" and "Disaster Prevention Fund". In particular, the Trade Union coordinated with the Market Management Department of Ho Chi Minh City to present 1,325 gifts, worth 715 million VND, to communes and schools affected by storm No. 3 in the province. These actions demonstrate the Trade Union's sense of responsibility towards the community and contribute to spreading profound humanistic values, building the image of Market Management officers attached to the people.

In addition to social activities, the Trade Union of the Tuyen Quang Market Management Department also actively responds to patriotic emulation movements, building a healthy and effective working environment. Emulation movements among female civil servants, such as creative labor emulation, promoting technical innovation initiatives, are always implemented synchronously, contributing to improving work efficiency and building an increasingly professional civil servant team.

At the same time, the union focuses on disseminating and strictly implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies, especially Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. These activities are integrated into the regular activities of union groups, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of union members. In addition, the union also coordinates to organize training sessions on soft skills and improve professional ethics, helping union members to be more aware of their roles and responsibilities in work and life.

The results achieved in the past time have affirmed the important role of the Trade Union of the Market Management Department of Tuyen Quang in taking care of the lives of union members, promoting the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility. In the coming time, the Trade Union of the Market Management Department of Tuyen Quang will continue to promote the achievements, promote emulation movements, and innovate the forms of activities to suit the actual situation.
