Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported to the Minister of Home Affairs and the working delegation some highlights of the province's socio-economic situation in 2023.

Accordingly, the province's GRDP growth reached 7.37%, higher than the national average; budget revenue (domestic) reached over 10,000 billion VND; FDI attraction of the province reached about 3 billion USD, belonging to the group of 5 provinces and cities attracting the highest FDI capital in the country. Recently, the province successfully organized the cultural exchange program - connecting Vietnamese - Korean enterprises "Thai Binh Homecoming Day" and the 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair. The event was attended by former President of Korea Lee Myung Bak and former President Truong Tan Sang. The program made a very good impression, promising to open up many opportunities, promoting investment attraction in the province in the coming time. The province has thoroughly grasped and well implemented the directions of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Home Affairs on tasks for the home affairs sector, especially in arranging administrative units, developing job position projects, etc.

The Minister of Home Affairs acknowledged and highly appreciated the results in socio-economic development and activities in the field of home affairs of Thai Binh province; especially expressed his impression of the province in the work of promoting and attracting investment. That demonstrated the spirit of openness from the provincial leaders as well as the implementation of many practical and effective solutions and policies in attracting investment. The results that Thai Binh has achieved have shown the solidarity, efforts and determination of the entire Party Committee, authorities at all levels, business community and people of all walks of life in implementing the set tasks and goals. He wished Thai Binh province many new successes in 2024, successfully completing the set goals and tasks, as well as in the entire term 2020 - 2025.
