Despite being severely affected by storm No. 3, many units and enterprises in the province still strive to proactively overcome difficulties, fix problems to stabilize production, and strive to complete the production target for 2024.
After storm No. 3 made landfall directly in the province, it caused serious damage to people and property, with total estimated damage of nearly 25,000 billion VND, affecting a number of economic and growth indicators. However, with proactiveness, self-reliance, and determination, units quickly overcame the damage caused by storm No. 3 and restored production. In the final months of 2024, units and enterprises in the area are sprinting, focusing on overcoming difficulties and boosting production, actively contributing to completing the province's growth target in 2024.

Tonly Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dong Mai Industrial Park) is one of the units heavily affected by storm No. 3, when many of the company's facilities were damaged, machinery and components were flooded, and power outages caused production activities to stagnate, with an estimated total loss of about 150 billion VND. However, immediately after the storm passed, the company's management directed staff and workers to participate in overcoming the consequences, proactively using generators to ensure electricity to maintain the factory's operations. Up to now, after nearly 1 month of the storm, the company has overcome the difficult period, consolidated all stable production activities, and ensured the progress of orders. With an average monthly production capacity of about 100,000 products including speakers and headphones exported to markets around the world such as the US, Europe, etc., it has created jobs and stable income for thousands of workers.
Mr. Tran Van Khanh, a worker at Tonly Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd., said: I, as well as the staff and workers, understand the difficulties that the company has just gone through. Therefore, we always try our best to perform our tasks and duties well to help the company overcome difficulties and stabilize production again.
Mr. Phung Ky Luan, General Director of Tonly Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., said: Storm No. 3 caused serious damage to the company. During the recovery period, we received timely attention and encouragement from the Vietnamese Government as well as the leaders of Quang Ninh province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee personally visited the factory to visit, encourage and inspect the business's operations; relevant departments, branches and localities also actively created conditions for us to carry out our tasks. This made us very grateful and touched. With this support and the company's efforts, we will certainly ensure output and growth compared to the set plan in the last months of the year.

Also one of the units that suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 3, but in the spirit of overcoming difficulties, NOSCO SHIPYARD Joint Stock Company is ready to share with local authorities in overcoming the consequences after the storm and bring the company's operations back to stability soon, ensuring jobs reach 100% capacity. As a unit specializing in the field of ship repair production and business with the most modern lifting floor system in Southeast Asia, capable of receiving ships with a tonnage of up to 80,000 DWT. From now until the end of the year, the Company continues to direct and pay attention to creating conditions for staff and workers to strive to complete orders to ensure progress and quality.
Mr. Vu Bao Trung, Deputy General Director of NosCo ShipYard Joint Stock Company, said: With the company's capacity, it is striving to receive an average of 10 large-capacity ships per month from now until the end of the year, bringing in revenue of about 100 billion VND. To achieve this goal, the company has developed a production plan, focusing on recruiting workers, adding workers with high professional and technical qualifications; for unskilled workers, after recruitment, they will be professionally trained to ensure job requirements, bringing the total number of employees of the company to about 1,000 people. At the same time, it continues to invest in modern equipment and machinery, and expand the wharf area, in which in November 2024, a new repair area with a capacity of 4 ship repair tanks will be put into operation, meeting the needs of customers.
It can be seen that, despite facing many difficulties caused by natural disasters, the units are still maintaining production and business while overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, but all of them show spirit, will, determination to bring production and business activities back to stability, ensure jobs and revenue for the units, and join hands with the locality to complete the goal of increasing budget revenue.
