Presenting the direction, tasks and solutions for the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of Branch 1 in the period of 2024 - 2027, comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Agency of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of Branch 1 said that the members of Branch 1 work at 02 units: Journalists & Public Opinion newspaper and the Center for Journalism Training. The total number of members includes 30 comrades who are cadres, experts and workers.

"The congress will focus on setting out the direction and tasks of the Youth Union for the 2024-2027 period. At the same time, it will elect the Executive Committee of Branch 1 for the 2024-2027 term, with full capacity and enthusiasm to lead the Youth Union and the agency's youth movement to achieve high results," said comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh.

According to comrade Nguyen Dieu Linh, with the slogan "Solidarity, initiative, dedication, creativity", the spirit of "Good advice, good service", this will be a political activity to promote the solidarity, creativity, enthusiasm and collective intelligence of the youth of Branch 1 to strive to excellently complete the assigned political tasks and build the agency's Youth Union increasingly stronger.

The Congress listened to presentations from members of Branch 1 focusing mainly on three main contents: Solutions to "face challenges" to help young reporters be more confident when participating in social networks, especially in the fight against false and hostile information; Solutions to prevent the disease of "fading the Union" in a number of young reporters and editors today; Solutions to promote activities and movements of arts, physical education and sports in the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Central Agency of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Secretary of the Party Cell, Editor-in-Chief of the Journalists & Public Opinion newspaper expressed his joy and excitement when listening to the Congress present the direction and tasks for the 2024-2027 term with many important tasks set out in the coming time; he also acknowledged the enthusiastic contributions of the members, which showed the careful preparation for the Congress and the attention of the comrades to the work of the Union.

In order for the Youth Union's work and youth movement of the Youth Union for the 2024-2027 term to achieve positive results, in the coming time, comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy emphasized: "Talking about the Youth Union means talking about ideals, courage and intelligence. In the current challenging context, I hope that you will constantly cultivate and preserve those values in your training, striving and growing up."

Comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy said that although the Youth Union was newly established, it received the attention and support of the agency's leaders, which was a great advantage for the Youth Union. The Executive Committee of the Youth Union and all youth union members must uphold the spirit of initiative, innovation, and creativity, closely following the common activities of the unit, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the higher-level Youth Union. In particular, promoting the creativity and spirit of "dare to think, dare to do" of the youth, linked with professional activities.

Solidarity, teamwork, creativity in business image 5 — Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long - Secretary of the Central Youth Union of the Vietnam Journalists Association highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Committee of Branch 1 in preparing documents and personnel for the Congress.

"In the role of the Party's right arm, I request that you pay attention to coming up with new ways, boldly assigning difficult tasks to union members to help union members fully develop their capacity and intelligence, thereby finding and introducing outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting; doing a good job of Party building" , comrade Le Tran Nguyen Huy requested.

Appreciating and acknowledging the efforts of the Executive Committee of Branch 1 in preparing documents and personnel for the Congress, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long - Secretary of the Central Youth Union of the Vietnam Journalists Association commented that the Executive Committee of Branch 1 was temporarily appointed and has been running the Youth Union's activities since the beginning of April until now, and has been proactive and responsible in carrying out political tasks, participating in the organization and management of key programs of the Youth Union in the second quarter, including the Seminar on New Media Trends, Opportunities and Challenges organized by the Youth Union of Vietnam Television in coordination with the Youth Union of the agency and related units.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long expressed his belief that the assigned tasks will be completed excellently by the comrades of Branch 1 and continue to promote the achievements gained in the past time.

After a period of serious and urgent work, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of Branch 1 for the first time, term 2024-2027, including 3 comrades: Nguyen Dieu Linh - Secretary of the Branch; Tran Van Quoc - Deputy Secretary of the Branch; Do Huyen Trang - Member of the Executive Committee of Branch 1.
