On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, this afternoon, January 16, a delegation from Savannakhet province (Laos) led by Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Savannakhet province Lam-thong Khop-sy-la-vong visited and extended New Year greetings to Quang Tri province. On behalf of Savannakhet province, Chairman of the Savannakhet Provincial Inspection Committee Lam-thong Khop-sy-la-vong sent New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the Vietnamese people.
At the same time, he affirmed that in the past time, despite many difficulties and challenges, the strengthening of friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation in all fields between Laos and Vietnam has continuously developed.
Expressing gratitude and appreciation for the companionship, cooperation and support of Quang Tri province over the past time for Savannakhet province in all fields, Chairman of the Savannakhet Provincial Inspection Committee Lam-thong Khop-sy-la-vong hoped that the two provinces would continue to maintain a strong relationship, continue to have more effective cooperation programs to contribute to preserving and promoting the solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; wishing the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province to enter the new year 2025 and successfully complete all socio-economic targets and tasks, achieving many achievements and victories in all fields.
Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang expressed her joy at welcoming the delegation of Savannakhet province to visit and wish a Happy New Year to Quang Tri province and affirmed that the special relationship and affection between the Party Committees, authorities and people of the two provinces are increasingly being nurtured through very specific and practical actions.
Pleased with the achievements that Savannakhet province has achieved in recent times, Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang also informed about the outstanding results in socio-economic, national defense and security, Party building, and apparatus streamlining of Quang Tri province in 2024 in order to be determined to successfully implement the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025 of Quang Tri province.
In the atmosphere of friendship and solidarity, Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang affirmed that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri province will continue to strengthen cooperation in all fields with Savannakhet province to contribute to maintaining, consolidating and developing the friendly cooperative relationship between the two provinces more deeply and effectively, thereby building a comprehensive and sustainable friendship, cooperation and development relationship.
