Regulating water discharge from Ke Go Lake from 2:00 p.m. November 14

According to Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited, the water level of Ke Go Lake at 7:00 p.m. on November 13 was 30.47m, corresponding to a capacity of 287 million ^m3 (design water level is 32.5m, design capacity is 345 million ^m3 ).

Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited has just announced the operation and regulation of Ke Go reservoir.

Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited regulates water discharge through Doc Mieu spillway of Ke Go lake starting from 2:00 p.m. on November 14.

Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, today (November 13) to November 14, the area under the management of the Nam Ha Tinh irrigation system will have moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain. The forecast rainfall from 9:00 a.m. on November 13 to 7:00 p.m. on November 14 in common areas is 70 - 120mm, some places over 170mm.

Pursuant to the Operation and Water Regulation Procedure of Ke Go Reservoir approved by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province in Decision No. 1702/QD-UBND dated August 19, 2022; to ensure the safety of Ke Go reservoir, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited announces the regulation of water discharge through Doc Mieu spillway starting from 2:00 p.m. on November 14, the end time will be based on weather developments and reservoir water levels.

The regulated flow through Doc Mieu spillway is from 10 - ^200m3 /s (2 gates open, opening from 15 - 200cm). The flow through the hydroelectric sluice is from 7 to ^21m3 /s.

To ensure the safety of people and property of the people in the downstream area, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited requests the People's Committees of Cam Xuyen and Thach Ha districts, Ha Tinh city and the affected communes in the system to notify and guide the people to know and implement safety measures, avoiding carelessness and unsafety during the operation and regulation of Ke Go reservoir.
