Based on the decision of the Hanoi Department of Construction, Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) has adjusted the route schedules, operating frequency, and service standards for 44 bus routes of the Corporation from April 1.
Accordingly, Transerco reorganized the 22A-BC branch and the 52A-B branch into 3 routes including route 22A: Gia Lam Bus Station - Kien Hung Urban Area; route 22B: Giap Bat Bus Station - Do Nghia; route 52: Thong Nhat Park - Le Chi (Gia Lam).
The Corporation also adjusted the terminal points and terminal parking locations of 4 bus routes such as route 06B: Giap Bat Bus Station - Hong Van (Cam Co village, Hong Van commune, Thuong Tin); route 100: Long Bien - Dang Xa (Gia Lam); route 26: Mai Dong (near the entrance to Nam Passenger Car Enterprise) - National Stadium; route 38: Nam Thang Long - Mai Dong (near the entrance to Nam Passenger Car Enterprise); adjusted the operating routes of 6 bus routes (03B, 89, 30, 104, 98, 23).
In addition, Hanoi Transport Corporation also adjusted the operating vehicle index, bus schedule, and frequency of 14 bus routes; adjusted the service index, bus schedule, operating frequency, and opening and closing times of 44 routes.
Recently, Transerco has put into operation a series of electric bus routes in accordance with the direction of Hanoi city.
According to the report of the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center, Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) has put into operation routes 39 and 47 using medium-duty electric buses since January 18; bus route 05 has been put into pilot operation since February 1.
Since the pilot operation, most passengers have been very satisfied with the service of the electric bus routes, which is a positive and encouraging signal for the public passenger transport sector in recent years.
