The official list of top 5 nominees for the 2024 Devotion Music Awards includes 50 nominations across 10 categories.

This list includes the top 10 names with the most public votes in each category at the organizer's voting portal.

According to the Dedication Award regulations, the top person in each category in the first round of voting will be given a special entry into the top 5.

The remaining four nominations are the four nominations with the highest scores, which are aggregated from the number of public votes and the number of votes of the voting council converted into points (public accounts for 50%, council accounts for 50%).

The Male Singer of the Year category at Cong Hien brings together names such as Den, Tang Duy Tan, HIEUTHUHAI, Wren Evans and Trung Quan.

Den and HIEUTHUHAI are two rappers competing with other singers in this category. This is because rap does not have its own categories, while the title "male singer" is not very suitable.

Meanwhile, the Female Singer of the Year category includes the names Phuong My Chi, Van Mai Huong, Hoa Minzy, Orange, Phao. The fact that Phao is named but Vo Ha Tram and Bui Lan Huong are absent is surprising.

This year, there are no names "sweeping" many Dedication nomination categories but it is quite balanced.

Artists with many achievements this year such as Den, Tang Duy Tan, Van Mai Huong, Hoa Minzy, Wren Evans, Trung Quan... all have 2 to 3 nominations.

Rapper Den leads with 3 nominations: Music Video of the Year (for Cooking for You ), Show of the Year (for Show of Den ) and Male Singer of the Year.

The New Artist of the Year category also caused a surprise when Anh Tu - a singer from The Voice 2017 with the big hit "Is Your Life Okay" in 2018 - was nominated.

The reason may be that in 2023, Anh Tu really became famous as the champion of Mask Singer and associated with the character Voi Ban Don.

Ha An Huy, this year's Vietnam Idol champion, was also nominated, but some say his musical activities after the show have not been outstanding.
