At a historical and heroic moment, three generations of musician Van Cao and 15,000 people sang the National Anthem together.
The cultural festival "Steady Stepping into a New Era" took place at My Dinh National Stadium on the evening of March 15, inspired by the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The parades, flag-raising ceremonies, torch-carrying ceremonies from the ancestral land of Phu Tho, along with performances using modern technology and art performances by top stars, together created a unique cultural and artistic program, honoring the national spirit.
The flag-raising ceremony and the singing of the National Anthem were attended by special guests, the son and grandson of the late musician Van Cao, the author of the song. Painter Van Thao, son of musician Van Cao, said he had listened to the National Anthem thousands of times but each time he felt moved, as if he had been given more national pride.
Three generations of musician Van Cao were moved to sing the National Anthem at My Dinh Stadium.
He highly appreciated the spirit of organizing a meaningful event like the cultural festival "Steadfastly entering the new era". The artist also said that the event helps the world feel the grandeur and sacredness of the Vietnamese National Anthem, a work that has accompanied the red flag with a yellow star through all historical periods of the country.
"I am moved and proud to participate in a large-scale event with 15,000 people singing the National Anthem. I am moved with emotion. I must thank my father, who created the sacred song of the mountains and rivers that makes all Vietnamese people proud. This is the first time my son, son and grandson sang the National Anthem together. I have watched many programs with many people singing the National Anthem everywhere and secretly wished that if I could participate, I would be very happy. This time my wish has come true," shared artist Van Thao.
Artist Van Thao also said that his family had been invited to attend many events but did not accept. This time, he brought his children and grandchildren to attend the program because of the significance of the event.
With 15,000 participants, the Cultural Festival "Steadfastly Stepping into a New Era" was confirmed as the event with the largest number of participants in the flag-raising ceremony and singing of the National Anthem in Vietnam.
Van Giang, the eldest grandson of musician Van Cao, said that he and his father and other family members had the opportunity to perform Tien Quan Ca as an art work, not as the national anthem under the national flag. A few days ago, he was excited because he knew that the event would be included in the Vietnam Book of Records and that he had the honor of being one of the people who created that record. Van Giang brought his children, great-grandchildren of Van Cao, to the event so that all three generations of the family could have the opportunity to participate in this special event.

MONO stirred up the atmosphere with the songs "Finding Love", "Taking Care of Flowers" and "Waiting for You".
Appearing on the show, MONO excited the audience when he stepped out from the stands in an outfit inspired by American cowboys. He stirred up the atmosphere with the songs Di tim tinh yeu, Cham hoa and Waiting for You.
As the only female solo artist on the show, Toc Tien appeared hot in a sexy orange cut-out dress and made the audience go through many different emotions. After "burning" the stage with beautiful choreography when performing the mash-up of Cong toi mai - Big Girls Dont Cry - Ngay Mai, she became more profound with Co ai thuong em nhu anh.
As the most anticipated name for young audiences, HIEUTHUHAI seemed to make My Dinh Stadium explode with cheers from all stands, excited by each song of Satellite or Khong The Say . Finally, HIEUTHUHAI ended his solo with romance with the song Hen Ghe Em Ben Anh Trang.
