On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Air Force's first victory (April 3), and at the same time aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, singer Nguyen Phi Hung released the MV "Our Squadron Takes Off" .
Proud of the air force soldier
The song "Our Squadron Starts Off" was composed by the late People's Artist Tuong Vi, author of famous songs such as " The Girl Sharpening Spikes", "The Sound of the Ta Lu Guitar", "You Are the Po Lang Flower", "The Girl of the La River" ...
Sharing about the opportunity to make the MV "Phi Doi Ta Xuat Kich" , singer Nguyen Phi Hung told Tuoi Tre Online : "Since I was little, listening to my parents sing, I loved it and dreamed that one day I would perform the song composed by People's Artist Tuong Vi. And now that has come true. "Phi Doi Ta Xuat Kich" has a soaring melody, like a cry to urge the determination and strong will of the soldiers."
The MV is a gift from singer Nguyen Phi Hung, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Thuan (in charge of production), and director Hoa Yen to the soldiers of the Air Defense - Air Force, who are protecting the peaceful skies of the Fatherland.
Nguyen Phi Hung shared that he was proud to put on his military uniform and sing with the air force soldiers.
"When meeting and interacting with the soldiers, Hung loved and respected their strong will and willingness to sacrifice for the Fatherland even more.
Hung feels like a real soldier. When filming the MV, the commanders and soldiers jokingly said "I am the honorary pilot" which made Hung happy and proud to spread the enthusiasm of a soldier through music" - Nguyen Phi Hung confided.
Re-enactment of the image of an air force soldier in training
Thanks to the support of Air Force Regiment 935 (Air Defense - Air Force), the MV " Our Squadron Takes Off" recorded authentic images of the life, training, and combat readiness of air force soldiers.
This is considered a special battlefield, where the planes can only move forward, not stop, and even more so, cannot retreat. Every time the planes take off, the soldiers have to face many challenges and dangers, even paying with blood and tears, but they never falter.
The MV features Hero of the People's Armed Forces, pilot Nguyen Van Nghia. He fully demonstrates the spirit of continuing the tradition of heroic soldiers through many generations in the MV. The image of three generations walking on the runway towards the sky represents the determination to always firmly protect the homeland's sky.
Artist Le Thien transforms into a mother who watches over her children on duty in the sky every day, a solid support for the noble sacrifices of soldiers through many generations.
"In Ms. Le Thien's eyes, smile or concern, everything is so dear and close, Hung believes that all soldiers feel like they are their loved ones. The Southern scarf she wears reminds her of her hard-working and patient mothers" - Nguyen Phi Hung shared.
