Regulations for high school graduation exam 2023

Organize 5 exams:

3 independent exams are Math, Literature, Foreign Language;

1 Natural Science exam includes the components Physics, Chemistry, Biology;

1 Social Science exam includes the components History, Geography, and Civic Education;

For candidates studying the general education program at high school level or the History and Geography component subjects for the biology exam at the continuing education program at high school level.

Exam date and schedule: As specified in the annual high school graduation exam organization guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Exam content: Exam content is within the high school program.

Exam format: Math, Foreign Language, Natural Science and Social Science exams are in the form of objective multiple-choice tests (collectively called multiple-choice tests); Literature exam is in the form of essay tests (collectively called essay tests).

Exam time/subject: Literature 120 minutes; Math 90 minutes; Foreign language 60 minutes; 50 minutes for each component subject of the combined exam of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.
