Let cultural spring promote tourism development

In 2025, Thanh Hoa province plans to organize 150 cultural, sports and tourism events at tourist areas and spots across the province, including spring with traditional festivals and activities recreating the old Tet holiday to serve tourists in early spring.

This shows that cultural activities organized in the spring play a very important role in the province's "smokeless industry". If organized well, it will create inspiration for the whole year. Limiting the "sand grains" in cultural activities, especially from spring festivals, will also help prevent bad reputation, the attraction from cultural activities and festivals will create a ripple effect to the community in the style of "good wine needs no bush" thereby attracting more tourists.

This is because in the current era of explosive media, any negative publicity creates unwanted reactions, especially in tourism where many tourists are also influenced by the information they are exposed to through social networks.

Recently, Thanh Hoa province has taken many measures to direct and strictly handle violations in festival activities. Localities with spring festivals that attract many visitors such as Trieu Son, Nhu Thanh, Thuong Xuan, Hau Loc, Sam Son, Bim Son... have strengthened State management of festival activities, not only creating a civilized and safe environment for visitors, but also creating a good reputation to attract tourists.

Along with that, the activity of recreating the space of the old Tet, the cultural spring has been invested in by many tourist areas, attracting a large number of tourists. This is a very good thing, however, in cultural activities, festivals always have hidden complications, requiring close management and supervision from the government and functional agencies. Because just a little negligence, the pragmatism in festival activities, tourism services will rise up, affecting the common efforts.

Directing at the conference to announce cultural, sports and tourism events in 2025, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi requested departments, branches and localities in the province to proactively do better in managing festivals and destinations; organize cultural, sports and tourism activities and events that are attractive in content, professional in form, taking people and tourists as the center, creating the best conditions for people and tourists to access and participate in events.

This requirement requires the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work with localities to strengthen the management of festivals and cultural activities during the early spring, so that the new spring has an impressive start, giving the province's tourism an advantage right from the first quarter of the year.
