Conference on guidelines for rearranging and reorganizing medical facilities

The Ministry of Health has just held an online conference with the Departments of Health of 63 provinces and cities on developing guidelines for the arrangement and reorganization of medical facilities in administrative units after the arrangement and reorganization according to the 2-level local government organization model. At the conference, the Ministry of Health informed about the draft guidelines on the arrangement and reorganization of medical facilities in administrative units implementing the 2-level local government organization model. The draft reflects the motto of streamlining, improving the quality and effective operation of the health system in the process of performing tasks. Thereby, representatives of the Department of Health of many provinces and cities participated in the discussion and proposed contributions to this draft. Concluding the conference, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan accepted the comments to supplement and complete the guidelines and send a report to the Central Steering Committee and the Government. The general spirit is to implement the arrangement of the apparatus but still ensure the full provision of services in medical examination, treatment and disease prevention; not to leave gaps in the implementation of tasks but to ensure that people's health care is carried out continuously, stably and increasingly better./.
