In particular, Hanoi has completed the acceptance of the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway and put it into operation. Ho Chi Minh City has completed the approval of the investment policy for the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai project under the PPP method; approved the adjustment of the investment policy for the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien urban railway project.

The report of the Ministry of Transport shows that the total number of expressway projects under construction is about 1,700km across the country, of which about 1,200km is expected to be completed by 2025 (raising the total number of expressway kilometers nationwide to over 3,000km). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted the need to speed up progress and promote disbursement of public investment capital, because the total investment capital for traffic works nationwide in 2024 is very large, about 200,000 billion VND. He directed that for projects that have not completed investment procedures, it is necessary to speed up and allocate capital, resolve tasks thoroughly, and report to the Prime Minister on difficulties and problems. Local leaders must mobilize the entire political system to participate in site clearance work, focus on relocating technical infrastructure, etc. According to the Prime Minister's request, bidding and contractor selection must be urgent, objective, and transparent; resolutely fight against "buying and selling" of contracts, embezzlement, corruption, loss, waste... Emphasizing that there is not much time left from now until the end of 2025 and it is the period when a large amount of work needs to be implemented, there must be a breakthrough and acceleration, the Prime Minister directed to urgently develop and issue a detailed plan "critical path for completing projects in 2025", ensuring the completion of the target of 3,000km of expressway by the end of 2025. The Prime Minister also requested to launch and effectively organize the emulation movement "500 peak days and nights to successfully complete expressway projects". The Head of Government noted that with 436km of 14 projects and component projects behind schedule, it is necessary for the management agencies, investors and contractors to be proactive, determined and make outstanding efforts to meet the schedule and complete it in August. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport to urgently select investors to soon start the Dau Giay - Tan Phu project; complete procedures to submit to the National Assembly to adjust the investment policy of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau project, and at the same time complete the Project on investment policy for the high-speed railway on the North - South axis to soon submit to competent authorities.
