Exactly 50 years ago, on March 28, 1975, from all directions, our troops launched an attack on Da Nang city; our artillery fired fiercely at enemy military targets in Da Nang city.

The long-range artillery of the 164th Brigade located at Mui Trau, along with the long-range artillery of the front, fired continuously at the Da Nang military port and airport, destroying many enemy aircraft and warehouses. Da Nang airport was paralyzed, the enemy's communications center was destroyed, and their communications were cut off. The enemy troops here became even more panicked.
