The event took place from March 25 to 27. With the theme "Operation of the airport of the future", the conference brought together leading speakers to discuss challenges and new generation solutions to improve service quality and sustainable development.
At the conference, ACV also introduced its investment plan for the 2030-2050 period with a total capital of over 16.4 billion USD, focusing on building new airports, improving air traffic management, developing MRO, improving cargo handling and human resource training, aiming for 95% of the population to access airports within 100 km by 2050.
The 8th Southeast Asia Airport Show is an important event of the regional aviation industry, bringing together more than 4,000 leading experts and businesses in the industry.
The event is not only an opportunity to update the most advanced technologies but also a place to meet, exchange and promote cooperation between parties to develop the Southeast Asian airport system to become increasingly modern and sustainable.
"The world aviation industry in general and Southeast Asia in particular are entering a period of strong development, requiring innovation, creativity, and closer connections between countries.
As one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world, Vietnam is implementing key projects to improve infrastructure capacity to meet the increasing demand for air transport," said Mr. Cuong.

One of ACV's most important tasks in the coming time is to complete and put into operation Long Thanh International Airport - a national key project expected to become one of the major aviation hubs in the region.
Under the direction of the Prime Minister, the ACV delegation attended this event with the aim of finding quality partners and suppliers with potential in the fields of technology, equipment and airport operations to cooperate in bringing the Long Thanh project to completion early, meeting the highest international standards.
This exhibition is not only an opportunity for ACV to seek technological solutions and advanced management models, but also an opportunity to discuss the common development strategy of the airport system in the region.
Long Thanh Airport is under urgent construction to be put into operation in 2026. ACV is also actively looking for units that provide professional airport equipment and operations according to international standards for cooperation.
In addition, ACV is committed to working with regional partners to promote the development of the airport system in a smart, green and sustainable direction.
At the same time, ACV hopes to receive cooperation and support from partners and suppliers to build an increasingly complete and far-reaching Southeast Asian airport network.
