Promote the installation of electric car charging stations, towards green transportation

(BD) - In order to promote the green energy conversion trend in the transportation sector, the Provincial People's Committee has planned to install electric car charging stations in the province by the V-Green Global Electric Vehicle Charging Network Development Company.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Construction will play a key role in coordinating with relevant units to survey and propose locations for installing charging stations at key locations such as gas stations, shopping malls, bus stations, wharfs and airports. It is expected that by April 30, the company will complete the installation of at least 20 new charging stations, contributing to meeting the increasing demand of people using electric cars.

The installation of charging stations will be carried out through transparent bidding and auction, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also requires investors when planning urban areas, residential areas, apartments, hotels and resorts to consider arranging suitable locations to build electric car charging stations, creating favorable conditions for people to access this service.

Binh Dinh Electricity Company will support the power supply for the charging stations, ensuring stable operation. Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will be responsible for guiding land-related procedures, helping the implementation go more smoothly.
