BTO-On the afternoon of February 27, the Steering Committee for Party building and people's organizations in non-state enterprises (NSOs) of the province held an online meeting with localities to evaluate the results of work implementation in 2023 and give opinions on the work program in 2024. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.
Currently, the entire Provincial Party Committee has 73 Party organizations with 1,549 Party members operating in Party organizations in State-owned enterprises; of which the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises has 10 Party organizations, and the District, Town and City Party Committees have 63 Party organizations. There are 307 grassroots trade union organizations with 35,139 members; 112 Youth Union and Youth Association organizations with 2,388 members; 1 Club, 16 branches and 13 women's groups with 412 members; 9 Veterans Association organizations with 97 members.
In 2023, the work of Party building and people's organizations in non-state enterprises was focused on and implemented quite well by the Provincial Steering Committee, Party committees at all levels, district-level Steering Committees and member agencies, and provincial organizations, achieving comprehensive outstanding results.
Accordingly, propaganda and mobilization work associated with surveys and understanding of the situation of enterprises and workers in SOEs have been deployed and innovated in many diverse and rich forms, contributing to raising the awareness of business owners and workers about the importance and practical benefits of establishing Party organizations and mass organizations in enterprises, thereby creating more self-awareness and responsibility in participating in building Party organizations and socio-political organizations in enterprises.
Results of 6/6 main targets achieved and exceeded according to the work program, such as: Establishing 3/3 party organizations in state-owned enterprises; Admitting 103/80 new party members, exceeding 28.75% of the set target; Establishing 16/15 grassroots trade union organizations, exceeding 6.6% of the set target; Establishing 14/13 grassroots organizations of the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union, exceeding 7.7% of the set target...
Although the results of establishing unions in state-owned enterprises have reached and exceeded the annual target, the number of unions is still low and not commensurate with the scale of state-owned enterprises in the province; the work of developing union members, association members, and party members still faces certain difficulties. The coordination of activities between district-level steering committees and relevant agencies and unions is not regular and synchronous. The work of supervision, social criticism, and suggestions for Party building and enterprise building by political and social unions in state-owned enterprises is still confusing.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee requested provincial agencies, units, and local Party committees to continue to propagate and promote the policies and resolutions of the central and provincial governments on building and developing Party organizations, mass organizations, and developing Party members, union members, and association members in state-owned enterprises.
Continue to strengthen and build grassroots Party organizations and improve the quality of Party members in the new period; promote innovation in the content and methods of operation of Party organizations and socio-political organizations in state-owned enterprises and improve the quality of union members in the new period.
In addition, the Head of the Organizing Committee also noted the need to improve the quality of Party Committee and Party cell activities in accordance with the specific conditions of each enterprise; improve the quality of Party Committees and Executive Committees of mass organizations in enterprises; organize training courses to improve professional skills for Party Committees and Executive Committees of mass organizations.
Regularly launch emulation movements in production, productivity - quality - efficiency in enterprises, in which promote the core, pioneering and exemplary role of party members, union members and association members to propagate and attract the masses to participate actively and effectively, thereby discovering positive factors to introduce to party organizations and socio-political organizations.
