TPO - A row of shops and kiosks next to Tho Quang fishing port (Son Tra, Da Nang City) suddenly caught fire in the middle of the hot noon. Hundreds of curious people gathered to watch the authorities put out the fire.

At around 11:45 a.m. on April 9, a row of shops and kiosks on Vung Thung 7 Street in the Tho Quang boat dock area (Son Tra District, Da Nang City) suddenly caught fire, with a column of black smoke hundreds of meters high.

Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting police force (Da Nang City Police) dispatched 5 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

Together with the fire fighting force, the people braved the danger and sprayed water to put out the fire. After about an hour of spraying water, the fire was basically under control.

The row of shops and kiosks that were on fire provided supplies and materials for fishing boats anchored at the dock and served trade at Tho Quang fishing port with many flammable materials.
