Eriksen's contract expires at the end of the 2024/25 season. With MU showing indifference in renewing, the Danish midfielder has begun looking for a new destination.

During the national team training session on March 18, Eriksen said: "I haven't heard anything from the club, so I assume that everything between us will end. That's how I understand the current situation. My contract expires this summer, and I'm ready to look for something new. I don't know where the next destination will be, but I feel better this way."

Eriksen has made 27 appearances this season, mostly from the bench, but he has still contributed to United thanks to his experience and ability to read the game well.

Despite having several options, Eriksen insists he has no intention of returning to Denmark or moving to MLS in the US anytime soon. "The goal is not to stay in England," the midfielder said. "I have no intention of going to America, not that far. I want to stay in Europe, but it's too early to go back to Denmark."

Eriksen also expressed his desire to attend the 2026 World Cup. Finding a new destination after leaving MU is considered very important for him to maintain his form and prepare for the major tournament that could be the last in his career.

In addition to Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Casemiro are also likely to leave MU next summer. The "Red Devils" need to reduce the salary fund to welcome new players suitable for coach Ruben Amorim.

Bruno Fernandes shined on the day MU won big against Leicester. In the early morning of March 17, Bruno scored 1 goal and 2 assists to help MU defeat host Leicester 3-0 in round 29 of the Premier League.
