This year’s tournament features 40 professional athletes from the VGA Tour, 74 regional athletes from the Asian Development Tour, and 18 amateur athletes with VGA Tour wildcards, competing from March 13-15, 2024 at The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram (Vung Tau). The total prize money for the athletes is 85,000 USD.
On March 11, domestic golfers will compete in a qualifying round to win one of the last six official spots in the tournament. The tournament received 192 applications from domestic and international athletes, marking the largest number of Vietnamese athletes at a regional tournament (66 athletes, not including qualifying spots). 63 professional athletes of the VGA Tour, including Vietnamese and foreign golfers, have registered to participate in the opening tournament of the 2024 season.

Lexus Challenge 2024 prioritizes 18 amateur tournament slots for young golf talents in the country who dare to challenge and pursue their passion. The tournament is also the only event in Vietnam that has always supported 100% of the participation costs for athletes under 18 years old since its inception in 2019. The challenging opening course of 2024 has attracted great attention from young, talented and promising faces.
Of the 18 slots for amateur athletes, there are 12 golfers under 18 years old and 7 golfers are members of the 2024 Vietnam golf team, including Lexus Challenge 2022 Champion Nguyen Anh Minh. The athlete born in 2007 also achieved outstanding achievements in the international arena with a bronze medal at the SEA Games and the Faldo Series Asia Championship.
Doan Uy and Nguyen Tuan Anh also confirmed their participation in Lexus Challenge 2024. Nguyen Trong Hoang is the youngest Champion in the history of the Junior Asian Tour. Nguyen Trong Hoang and Ngo Thanh Son are also the youngest athletes at Lexus Challenge 2024 - 14 years old. Participating in regional competitions at such a young age is a premise for a promising future for the country's golf industry.
This year's Lexus Challenge season welcomes the participation of typical representatives of professional golf in Vietnam such as 2023 Men's National Champion Nguyen Nhat Long, 2019 and 2022 Lexus Challenge runner-up Truong Chi Quan, 2019 Lexus Challenge co-runner-up Doan Van Dinh and Nguyen Huu Quyet - the leader of the VGA Tour prize money rankings.

Both in the top 10 of Lexus Challenge 2023, Dinh Song Hai and Nguyen Tuan Kiet are ready to conquer the challenges of this year's season. In addition, the appearance of international players living in Vietnam such as VGA Tour Championship 2022 Champion Joel Troy, VGA Tour Championship 2022 Runner-up Brian Jung or Vietnam Masters 2019 Runner-up Park Sang Ho promises to bring a "breakthrough" tournament.
The ADT starting lineup has only 1 amateur athlete from Saudi Arabia and professional athletes from 20 different countries, of which the number of Thai players accounts for the most (24 athletes). Notable international faces include Juvic Pagunsan, Nicholas Fung, Naraaji E Ramadhan Putra,... all of whom have confirmed their participation in this year's Lexus Challenge season.
Taking place at the challenging The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram, Lexus Challenge 2024 will bring a dramatic and emotional tournament.
