Dong Trieu Golf Course worth thousands of billions opens to welcome 200 golfers to compete

On January 11, at Dong Trieu Golf Course (Dong Trieu City, Quang Ninh), the golf tournament - The Pursuit of Excellence took place, gathering nearly 200 domestic and foreign golfers, creating dramatic and exciting competitions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, Chairman of Dong Trieu City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ngoan shared that this is a special tournament to celebrate Dong Trieu City officially becoming the 5th city under Quang Ninh province, marking an important turning point in the local economic development.

According to Mr. Ngoan, the event not only introduced the first international standard golf course in Dong Trieu, but also had important significance as this golf course is one of the four key projects of Quang Ninh province in 2021 that has been completed on schedule.

The tournament brings together 200 domestic and foreign golfers.

Dong Trieu Golf Course is about 130 hectares wide with a total investment of more than 1,277 billion VND, capable of serving more than 800 guests/day.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Trieu City, Dong Trieu Golf Course is built into two golf courses with two purposes, including a 9-hole golf course exclusively for beginner golfers along with a modern golf training academy and an 18-hole Championship course for experienced golfers.

Quang Ninh has its 4th golf course, with an investment of more than 1,000 billion VND.

The idea of ​​building two golf courses with different purposes is highly appreciated because it offers many choices for players.

In addition, the Dong Trieu golf course complex also has low-rise accommodation buildings, high-rise hotels, golf courses, green infrastructure, landscapes, entertainment areas, and high-class eco-resort spaces according to 5-star standards, which are expected to make positive changes in the tourism and economic development of Dong Trieu City in particular and Quang Ninh Province in general.

Dong Trieu has just become a city for a few days and has already put into operation a trillion-dollar sports infrastructure.
