The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front took place in the historic days of October, the whole society in every family, agency, and unit has devoted their feelings of concern, respect, and love to women. In that spirit, before closing, on behalf of the Presidium of the Congress, I would like to personally send my respectful greetings to the ladies, sisters, children, and granddaughters attending the Congress and the women, and to the women, my best wishes for their health and my warm, precious, and loving feelings. I wish you all a happy, healthy, beautiful, and happy October 20th.
Dear Congress!
After nearly 3 days of urgent, serious, responsible and effective work, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front completed the proposed program and was a great success.
1,052 delegates, representatives of social classes, ethnic groups, religions, armed forces, and overseas Vietnamese attended the Congress. With the spirit of " Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development ", the Congress focused on discussing and approving the following documents:
(1) Political report of the Congress.
(2) Report on the review of the activities of the Committee, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX, 2019 - 2024.
(3) Contents of amendments and supplements to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
(4) Approving the personnel plan and consulting to elect the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, including: 397 members; Presidium: 67 members; Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman - General Secretary and 2 full-time Vice Chairmen and 7 part-time Vice Chairmen.
The Congress was very happy, excited and moved to welcome: Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister; Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly; Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat and other Politburo members, Secretariat members, Party Central Committee members; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, mass organizations, leaders of provinces and cities... to attend, direct and encourage the Congress.
The Congress was delighted and moved to welcome Comrade Nong Duc Manh, former General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; former Presidents, former Prime Ministers, former National Assembly Chairmen, former Party and State leaders; former Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of all periods to attend and share the joy of the Congress.
In an atmosphere of enthusiasm, excitement and trust, the Congress listened attentively to the very important, dedicated, strategic and historic speech of Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The General Secretary and President continued to affirm the very important position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the tradition and strength of great national unity; the consistent viewpoint of our Party and State: the people are the root, the center, the subject, the target of all policies and strategies; on promoting the people's mastery, relying on the people to build a clean and strong Party, State and political system, taking the prosperity and happiness of the people as its goal. The General Secretary and President also acknowledged and commended the important and comprehensive results that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has achieved in the past term; agreeing and agreeing with the goals, directions and tasks of the coming term; the General Secretary and President has directed many important contents for the Vietnam Fatherland Front to supplement into the documents and implement in the coming time; strongly arousing the spirit of patriotism, national pride, self-reliance and confidence for our country to enter a new era - the era of striving for development of the Vietnamese people.
In an open, frank and responsible atmosphere, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong discussed with the Congress many important contents on the results and directions for coordination of the work of the National Assembly Standing Committee with the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Government with the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and believed that in the coming term, under the wise leadership of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government, and authorities at all levels will closely coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels to synchronously and effectively implement major campaigns and patriotic emulation movements. In the immediate future, strive to achieve the 2024 plan goals, strive to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025; make the greatest effort to support and help people affected by storm No. 3 to restore production and stabilize their lives soon; prepare to contribute ideas to the documents of the Party Congresses at all levels, the 14th Party Congress, and prepare for the election of People's Council Deputies at all levels and National Assembly Deputies. Together, we will better coordinate to implement the contents related to national planning and people's livelihood and better implement the Party's orientation that people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
The National Assembly, the Government and State agencies will sincerely listen to and sincerely resolve the legitimate opinions and recommendations of voters and people, and encourage all classes of people to seize opportunities and advantages to overcome all difficulties and challenges, strive to successfully implement the goals and tasks set forth by the 13th National Congress of the Party and the Resolution that the 14th Congress will set forth.
With a frank, objective and comprehensive spirit, the Congress had 110 comments and dozens of written comments added to the documents submitted to the Congress. The Congress Presidium highly appreciated and acknowledged all the enthusiastic, intelligent and responsible comments of the delegates, and assigned the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to direct the reception and supplementation of valid comments for implementation.
With high consensus and unity, the Congress passed the Resolution of the Congress defining the direction, goals and tasks of the 2024-2029 period; identifying 10 specific targets, 6 action programs and assigning the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, to study, absorb, supplement ideas and complete, announce and organize implementation.
On behalf of the Presidium of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, delivered a speech accepting the task and committed to the Congress to unite, reach consensus, and make the greatest effort to successfully organize the implementation of the directions, goals, and tasks set out by the Congress.

The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term has been a great success. The Presidium of the Congress would like to express our sincere thanks for the special attention and regular and effective guidance of the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee; sincerely thank and seriously accept the dedicated, responsible, strategic and historically significant guidance of General Secretary and President To Lam; and thank the attention and precious time of the leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and distinguished delegates for attending and directing the Congress.
The Congress would like to sincerely thank the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government Standing Committee, the Prime Minister, Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees, National Assembly delegations of provinces and cities, especially Hanoi city, for their attention, support, and creation of the most favorable conditions, making important contributions to the success of the Congress.
The Congress acknowledged, highly appreciated and sincerely thanked the contributions of Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, National Assembly Chairman, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure (early term); members of the Committee, members of the Presidium, Vice Chairman - General Secretary, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 9th tenure for their important contributions to the results of the 2019 - 2024 term. Due to work requirements and specific conditions, many comrades were not re-elected for the 10th tenure. We hope that comrades will continue to monitor, contribute opinions and encourage the 10th tenure Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to better fulfill the tasks entrusted to them by the Congress.
The Congress acknowledges and respectfully thanks the comrades who are former Presidents, Vice Presidents, members of the Presidium, members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of all terms and cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels from the Central to the grassroots, the Front Work Committee in residential areas, all classes of people, compatriots, comrades... for their attention, monitoring, comments, and support of all activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially their contributions to the success of the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The Congress would like to thank the news agencies, press, artists, officers and soldiers of the armed forces; civil servants, public employees and workers of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; service departments of the National Convention Center, hotels, Vietnam folk music and dance theaters and all forces who have devoted themselves, responsibly and excellently fulfilled their tasks, contributing to the success of the Congress.
The Congress sincerely thanks the collectives, individuals, businessmen and enterprises for their material support and spiritual encouragement to make the Congress a great success.

The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is the most vivid and beautiful symbol, demonstrating the strength of the great national unity bloc, an extremely precious tradition of our nation, built and nurtured by many generations of ancestors with sweat, blood, hard work and sacrifice, with the will, faith and aspiration of the Vietnamese people who love peace, humanity and justice; the blood and bones of the children of Vietnam have merged into the motherland to become golden bricks to build the bronze citadel of the Vietnamese Fatherland. Therefore, no hostile force can divide our great unity bloc. From the forum of today's Congress, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front calls on all classes, social strata, people of all ethnic groups, religions, intellectuals, artists, businessmen, enterprises, and overseas Vietnamese to further promote patriotism, national pride, absolute trust in the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, contribute intelligence and efforts to constantly consolidate and strengthen the tradition and strength of great national unity, combined with the strength of the times, unanimously and jointly: Once discussed, it is agreed, once gone, it is achieved, once determined, the whole country will wholeheartedly build our beloved Vietnam into a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, prosperous, civilized, and happy country.
