The 11th Congress of Cuu Long University Youth Union was a great success.

Attending and directing the congress were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union. On the side of Cuu Long University, there were Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Lan, Vice Principal; Mr. Truong Cong Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and 120 summoned members representing 2,111 attended.

In the 2022-2024 term, Cuu Long University Youth Union has achieved and exceeded 9/9 targets of the resolution, a rate of 100%. Of which, 8 targets exceeded the set plan.

Specifically, 7 youth projects were carried out; 1,100 ideas and initiatives of union members and youth; 25 scientific research topics of union members and youth; and 76 students and 76 pupils were supported.

Introduced 128 outstanding members to attend the Party awareness class, introduced 30 outstanding members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 15 members were admitted to the Party.

100% of the grassroots Youth Unions were classified as having completed their tasks or better; 100% of the Youth Union members were classified as having completed their tasks or better. Organized 5 trips to red addresses; 1 island trip, 1 border trip

In the 2024-2027 term, Cuu Long University Youth Union operates with the slogan " Cuu Long University Youth Union: Solidarity - Pioneering - Aspiration - Development ".

The Congress set out 9 key targets in the following areas: Propaganda and education work; Organizing revolutionary action movements, promoting the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of youth in building and defending the Fatherland; Organizing programs to accompany youth; Work to protect, care for and educate teenagers and children; International youth work; Work to build the Youth Union, expand the solidarity front to gather youth; Work to participate in building and protecting the Party and the political system.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan praised the achievements that the Cuu Long University Youth Union achieved in the past term.

The Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union emphasized that in the coming term, the School Youth Union needs to continue to strengthen and innovate Youth Union activities. Promote the movement of studying and scientific research among students. Strengthen education on revolutionary political ideology, ethics and lifestyle for union members and young people. On this occasion, Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union awarded 5 collectives and 20 individuals; Cuu Long University awarded 1 collective and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements for the 2022-2024 term.

New executive committee introduced to congress

The congress elected a new executive committee of 13 members. Ms. Thai Thi Hien was re-elected as Secretary of the Cuu Long University Youth Union for the 11th term, 2024-2027.
