On June 10 and 11, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Ninh Binh city held the 19th Congress, term 2024 - 2029.

During the past term, on the basis of closely following the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; the direction and orientation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the participation of the entire political system, the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and wards and communes have well performed the assigned political tasks. Continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots; focusing on propaganda, mobilization, gathering, building and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, religious unity; promoting patriotic emulation movements, campaigns to participate in giving opinions on Party building, government building; effectively implementing social security policies for poor households, near-poor households, and policy households; promptly and effectively organizing and implementing documents of all levels and sectors, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's operations, meeting the requirements in the new situation. Effectively carry out supervision activities, especially supervision of cadres and party members according to Regulation 124-QD/TW in the performance of public duties.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has advised the Party Committee, coordinated with the government and member organizations to organize well emulation movements and campaigns such as: the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", with many good models and creative ways; the model "Progressive civilized funeral", "Fire prevention and fighting inter-family group", "Advanced production in the agricultural sector"; mobilized people to voluntarily contribute to renovating and upgrading public works, contributing to building civilized urban areas. The campaign to build the "Repaying gratitude and social security" Fund raised over 6.5 billion VND; supported the construction and repair of 59 great solidarity houses...
At the Congress, delegates discussed and proposed an action program for the 2024 - 2029 term with key goals, tasks and main solutions: Strengthening propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; promoting democracy, participating in Party and State building; implementing campaigns and emulation movements; innovating the organizational apparatus, improving the capacity of the Front's cadres at all levels; building a united, consensual, secure, safe, prosperous and happy residential area.
Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Hoang Ha and Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Van Tien acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and outstanding results of the Fatherland Front at all levels of Ninh Binh city achieved in the past term and proposed that in the next term, the Fatherland Front of Ninh Binh city continue to promote propaganda work, raise awareness among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the cause of great national unity, create spiritual strength to urge cadres, party members and people to strive to rise up and actively build a rich and civilized Ninh Binh city.
Improve the quality of implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in a practical and effective manner with appropriate methods, in the direction of selecting contents and tasks that can create strong qualitative changes in implementation, close to the reality at the grassroots level. With the motto 'Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development', the Congress elected 53 members to join the 19th City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term. At the first conference, the delegates were elected to join the Standing Committee of the 19th City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Mr. Nguyen Nam Giang, Chairman of the 18th City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, was re-elected as Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.
The congress elected 17 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Binh province for the 2024-2029 term.
