Congress of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association of Ben Tre province, term 2025

Members of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association of the province attended the congress.

The Vietnam VNDG Association in Ben Tre province has 5 members, integrating activities with the VNDG Branch of the Nguyen Dinh Chieu Literature and Arts Association. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Association focuses on preserving and exploiting cultural values and VNDG in contemporary cultural life.

Members of the Vietnam Dong Dang Association in the province have made constant efforts to research and popularize the folk cultural heritage of Ben Tre province. Many folk cultural research works have been published in books, in specialized magazines, and in national and international conferences; 4 dossiers have been prepared to propose the Vietnam Dong Dang Association to confer the title of Folk Artist.

The Association has also coordinated to organize 4 field trips to exchange and learn from VNDG experiences in the provinces of Lam Dong, Phu Yen, Binh Phuoc, and Ca Mau. Each trip lasts 2-3 days, an average of 1 trip per year, thereby creating a vibrant atmosphere, encouraging members to enthusiastically participate in professional activities; promoting the collection and research of VNDG and cooperation both domestically and internationally in the field of VNDG.

The Congress contributed the draft Report summarizing the work of the 8th term and the work direction of the 9th term of the Vietnam Association of Vietnamese Women; approved the Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam Association of Women in the province, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association consisting of 2 members, Researcher Nguyen Quang Tri was elected as the President of the Association, and Master Bui Huu Nghia as Vice President. The Congress elected delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam VNDG Association in Hanoi, scheduled to take place in May 2025, including 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate.
