Over the past two years, universities under the Ho Chi Minh City National University have supported Binh Chanh District in many important matters. Specifically, scientists from the University of Economics and Law contributed ideas at the workshop and completed the project "Investing in building Binh Chanh District into a district or city under Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2021 - 2030".
The University of Natural Sciences organizes 5 training classes, fostering information technology skills, digital transformation. The Software Technology Park organizes a short-term training program in the field of STEM education, while the University of Social Sciences and Humanities enrolls and trains 1 class in English language, 2nd degree in the part-time program at the district political center.

At the meeting, the two units discussed and agreed to implement a number of key tasks such as organizing training courses on knowledge and skills in administrative management, socio-economic management, digital transformation, tourism, and project management.
Along with that is a short-term training course related to the application, integration of GIS and remote sensing in a number of fields such as land and environmental management; information security plan rehearsal; compilation of documents explaining historical and cultural relics in the district.
Mr. Tran Van Nam, Secretary of Binh Chanh District Party Committee, shared that the district is very proud to be a district-level locality coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City National University to implement cooperation programs in many fields and achieve positive results.
Mr. Nam affirmed that Binh Chanh District always pays attention to and creates conditions for effective implementation of cooperation contents, aiming at the goal of building a high-quality human resource foundation to meet the needs of fast and sustainable local development.
