FPT signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Hai Phong

On the afternoon of April 9, Hai Phong City and FPT Corporation signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation in the area, develop science and technology, innovation and train high-quality human resources in Hai Phong city by 2030.

According to the agreement, FPT will coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City to develop a synchronous and modern digital infrastructure and digital platform, research and invest in building a modern, international-standard Data Center to provide cloud computing services for agencies, organizations and businesses in Hai Phong City and the region; or research a plan to build a High Performance Computing Center (HPC) to serve large problems, especially the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to meet the city's increasing demand for data storage and processing. FPT will coordinate to develop optimal solutions and roadmaps to move information systems to the cloud computing platform according to the Action Plan of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, in order to optimize investment and operating costs, increase flexibility and security.

FPT focuses resources to coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Phong city and departments and branches to develop the digital economy and support businesses in digital transformation, develop the science and technology and innovation ecosystem, develop high-tech industrial parks and related functional areas, develop high-quality human resources, develop digital data, build digital government and perfect institutions in the spirit of Resolution No. 57, Resolution No. 03, Resolution No. 71.
