Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in Yen Mo Gia Vien district

On the morning of June 13, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council Unit No. 10 and the delegation of the Yen Mo District People's Council had a meeting with voters of Yen Nhan and Yen Tu communes (Yen Mo). Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the voters listened to the representatives of the Provincial People's Council and District People's Council delegations report on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of 2024, the directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year of the province and district; announce the expected content and program of the mid-year session of the 15th Provincial People's Council and the mid-year session of the District People's Council; report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations at the year-end session of the Provincial People's Council and District People's Council in 2023.

At the meeting, voters of Yen Nhan and Yen Tu communes expressed their joy and excitement about the socio-economic results achieved by the province and district in recent times; and agreed with the expected content and program of the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council and District People's Council.

Voters suggested that the province and district pay attention to investing in upgrading the road to the center of Yen Nhan, Yen Tu, and Yen Lam communes to contribute to completing the criteria for a model new rural area. Propose to upgrade the clean water plant in Yen Tu commune to better serve the clean water needs of the people. Upgrade the inter-commune road from Chua hamlet, Yen Tu commune to Van Mong, Yen Phong commune; direct the Kim Dai lagoon management board to take appropriate regulatory measures (opening and closing) to both prevent saltwater intrusion and serve the irrigation and drainage work for crops, ensuring water sources for people's daily life.

Voters recommend speeding up the construction progress of the 2-storey school building and auxiliary items of Lien Phuong Kindergarten in Yen Nhan Commune, which broke ground in November 2022 but has not yet started construction. We request that competent authorities pay attention to investing in and constructing the expansion of DH73 road (from Yen Nhan Primary School, Area B to Vinh Loc roundabout).

It is recommended to consider increasing the percentage of the commune budget that is enjoyed from the revenue from the auction of land use rights so that the commune has capital to invest in infrastructure. It is recommended to consider supporting funding from the source of handling youth who resist or evade military service examination so that the commune has a source of investment funding to serve the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army every year.

Next, leaders of Yen Mo District People's Committee, Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant agencies discussed and clarified a number of issues under their authority such as: the percentage deduction for establishments in the auction of land use rights; the issue of basic construction investment; expanding the supply of clean water for daily life for people; the regulation of Kim Dai lake...

Speaking at the meeting with voters, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, thanked the voters of Yen Nhan and Yen Tu communes for their legitimate opinions and recommendations. He stated: In this meeting with voters, the Provincial People's Council invited leaders of relevant departments and branches to attend to listen to and directly respond to the voters' opinions and recommendations.

He also discussed a number of issues that voters had opinions and recommendations in groups of issues: traffic, irrigation; budget allocation for infrastructure upgrade investment. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, Yen Mo district should focus on coordinating with relevant departments and branches of the province to develop plans, organize conferences to clearly identify causes and find solutions, gradually remove difficulties to ensure the rights of the people; suggested that the provincial and district People's Council delegates strengthen supervision of the settlement of the opinions and recommendations raised by voters.

Also at the meeting, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested all levels and sectors of Yen Mo district to review the local socio-economic development targets; strive to fulfill the set targets.

Yen Mo needs to focus on completing the district criteria to meet the advanced new rural standards, contributing to Ninh Binh province completing the new rural provincial criteria by 2025. He requested all levels, sectors and localities in the district to promote the emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of the district. Prepare well the conditions for organizing Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term...

At the meeting, voters listened to representatives of the Provincial People's Council Delegation and the District People's Council Delegation announce the expected time and agenda for the mid-year 2024 regular session of the 15th Provincial People's Council and the District People's Council; a summary report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 6 months of the year, the directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the province and the district; and a report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before the 17th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council.

With a frank and open spirit, voters of the communes reflected and made recommendations to the provincial and district People's Council delegates on a number of issues arising in practice and of public concern. In particular, voters of Gia Hung commune requested the Provincial Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to consider upgrading two water pipes to Cau Lau pumping station and Doi Lai pumping station; the Electricity sector to move some electric poles in residential areas that are affecting traffic activities; and to provide financial support for households whose pigs died from African swine fever from 2023.

Voters of Gia Van commune requested the People's Committee of Gia Vien district to resolve the problem of land in Phu Long village cemetery that has not been resolved since 2015; to survey and consider investing in the construction of the T4 drainage system to ensure drainage for agricultural production areas as well as domestic drainage in residential areas; to direct the Gia Vien district irrigation works exploitation branch to regularly pump and drain to ensure agricultural production.

Voters of Lien Son commune reported that the A312 drainage canal from Dong Chua to Gia Hung commune has been put into use, however, there are still many places that have not been completed, some sections have not been concreted. Voters requested the District People's Committee to have a specific plan to complete the items to ensure the people's travel and production. Voters of the commune also requested the District People's Committee to consider using additional reserve funds to build a multi-purpose room for Lien Son Primary School so that the school can meet level 2 standards; requested the Provincial People's Committee and competent agencies to have directions to research and solve the issue of collecting compulsory insurance for non-public preschool teachers and sick soldiers of all ranks according to Official Dispatch No. 835 dated March 20, 2019 of Vietnam Social Security...

The opinions and recommendations of voters were received by the representatives of the Provincial and District People's Council Delegation, who explained a number of issues within their authority and compiled them to relevant levels and sectors for focused resolution. At the same time, they hoped that voters would share the difficulties, continue to unite, join hands, and wholeheartedly build their homeland to develop and innovate more and more.
