City People's Council delegates meet with voters of Duong Kinh district to serve the regular session at the end of 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of November 14, Delegation Group No. 5 of the City People's Council met with voters in Duong Kinh district to serve the regular session at the end of 2024 of the 16th City People's Council. Attending the meeting were delegates: Phung Van Thanh, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Head of the Delegation Group of the City People's Council in Duong Kinh district; Nguyen Thi Tinh, Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council.
At the meeting, the City People's Council delegates reported to the district voters on 6 contents including: Time and content of the regular session at the end of 2024; Draft Report of the City People's Committee on the results of implementing socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2024; tasks and solutions for socio-economic development, national defense and security of the city in 2025. At the same time, report the results of handling voters' recommendations related to Duong Kinh district at the 18th session of the 16th City People's Council. Inform the district voters about the Regulation on annual gift spending levels for outstanding intellectuals, scientists, artists and artisans in the city; Regulations on a number of specific policies to support children in special circumstances and difficult circumstances in Hai Phong city, period 2025 - 2030; Project on collecting and paying rent for public housing in apartment buildings in Hai Phong city.
After listening to the contents reported by the City People's Council Delegation, voters of Duong Kinh district highly appreciated the city's leadership and direction in implementing the tasks of economic - cultural - social development - national security and defense in 2024. On this occasion, voters of the district made a number of recommendations and proposals for city leaders to continue paying attention to the issues of urban planning, traffic, and lighting in some localities in the district.
On behalf of the City People's Council delegation, Comrade Phung Van Thanh, Secretary of the District Party Committee, thanked and fully accepted the opinions and recommendations of the district voters. He assigned the District People's Committee to direct the functional departments and People's Committees of the wards, within their authority, to consider and effectively resolve the issues raised by the voters. The City People's Council delegation will synthesize and report to the City People's Council to consider and resolve the issues proposed by the district voters.
