Artistic photography contest “50 years of Binh Dinh - Land and people”: Author Nguyen Minh Quang won first prize

(BD) - On the morning of March 18, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held the Closing Ceremony of the Contest and the opening of the art photo exhibition with the theme "50 years of Binh Dinh - Land and People " . Attending the event was comrade Le Binh Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

After 7 months of launching (July 29, 2024 - February 28, 2025), the Organizing Committee of the Contest received 343 works from 44 authors. The entries clearly reflected the changes of Binh Dinh land and people from rural to urban areas after 50 years of national reunification.

Thereby , the Organizing Committee of the Contest selected 11 high-quality works, highlighting the province's strengths and potentials in marine economy, new achievements in various fields to award prizes. Of which, the work Quy Nhon Port City by Nguyen Minh Quang won first prize; The Quintessence of Binh Dinh Martial Arts by Phan Minh Tho and Green Future Lesson by Nguyen Minh Quang won second prize; Bustling New Day in An Toan by Le Thanh Hai, Sac Mau Dap Dang Phu Phong by Nguyen Phan Dung Nhan and F1H2O Team Binh Dinh - Vietnam by Nguyen Phuoc Hoai received third prize. The Organizing Committee also awarded 5 consolation prizes to authors whose works had quality content and art that met the requirements of the topic.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists awarded certificates of merit to the collective of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Binh Dinh province and 3 individual members with outstanding achievements in Vietnamese photography activities in 2024 ; announced and awarded the decision to admit 2 new members to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

From March 18 to 31, at the Provincial Conference Center lobby (on Truong Chinh Street), the Provincial Literature and Arts Association exhibited 70 works by authors participating in the Artistic Photography Contest "50 Years of Binh Dinh - Land and People" to promote the image of the country, people, economic, cultural and social achievements of the province to domestic and foreign tourists on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Dinh Province (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).
