BTO-On May 11, Emulation Cluster No. V of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union, including 8 grassroots unions under the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector and the provincial Literature and Arts Association, organized a program to return to the source at the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee base relic site during the resistance war against the US.
Upon arrival, the delegation offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh and paid tribute to the leaders, cadres and soldiers of the Provincial Party Committee who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification. They also watched a documentary about the history and construction process of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site; listened to explanations about the artifacts, homemade weapons and tools used by cadres and soldiers during the resistance war. They visited trenches, barracks and halls dug under ancient trees on rugged mountain slopes; visited Hoang Cam kitchen, Chin Khuc stream, etc.
In addition, union officials and union members in the emulation cluster participated in placing a number of propaganda boards to raise awareness among people and tourists when visiting and researching to join hands in protecting the relic, for a green, clean and beautiful environment.
Through activities to review the tradition of drinking water and remembering its source, and help union members promote patriotism and national pride. Strengthen the spirit of solidarity, attachment, and exchange and learning among cadres and civil servants in the emulation cluster to continue striving to fulfill the targets and tasks assigned by the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector and the superior union.
