Police looking for person who sent and received child and did charity work at Hoa Hong shelter

On October 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department is still expanding its investigation into violations at the Hoa Hong orphanage (To Ky Street, Trung My Tay Ward, District 12) whose legal representative is Ms. Giap Thi Song Huong (50 years old, from Bac Giang, residing in Go Vap District).

Previously, on September 6, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and temporarily detained two nannies: Nguyen Thi Ngoc Cam (46 years old, from Dong Nai) and Diep Ngoc Tuyen (47 years old, from Soc Trang) for the crime of "Torturing others".

Since then, the Investigation Police Agency has continuously invited Ms. Giap Thi Song Huong and a number of nannies and employees of the Hoa Hong orphanage to work.

Currently, to serve the work of expanding the investigation and handling the subjects, the Criminal Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police Department issued a notice to find witnesses and related people.

Specifically, the police are looking for people who have sent or adopted children from the Hoa Hong shelter or Ms. Song Huong. At the same time, the police are also calling for witnesses and people who know the case to cooperate with the investigation.

The police also searched for benefactors who had done charity work, donated cash, money transfers and materials to the Hoa Hong shelter or Ms. Song Huong.

The Rose Shelter is licensed to house no more than 39 children, but authorities discovered that there were 85 children there. The responsibilities of the units and individuals in the assessment, licensing and supervision of the activities of this shelter will be clarified.
