The reason for this is that the supply of live pigs has decreased after Tet, while herd restoration is slow; many types of pig diseases have broken out, causing difficulties for livestock farming...

The price of live pigs has increased, so the price of commercial meat in most of the local markets has also increased by about 10,000 VND/kg; in the market, each kg of pork costs an average of 130,000 - 150,000 VND. Among foods, pork accounts for 65% of the consumer price index.
