On October 29, the People's Committee of District 12 (HCMC) issued regulations on coordination between schools, families and society to prevent school violence, crime and social evils among students.
Students in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City participate in a thematic activity on school violence.
Accordingly, District 12 is the first locality in Ho Chi Minh City to develop its own regulations on coordination and binding responsibilities between schools, families and society in preventing school violence, crime and social evils in schools.
In the regulations, the People's Committee of District 12 stipulates 5 contents of coordination between family, school and society, including:
- Develop, organize and evaluate the implementation of annual educational plans on preventing school violence, crime and social evils among students.
- Propagating, educating, implementing solutions to prevent and combat school violence, crime and social evils; educating students on ethics, lifestyle, behavioral culture, life skills; implementing psychological counseling and school social work.
- Building a model of coordination between school, family and society in educating students in ethics, lifestyle, cultural behavior and life skills.
- Building green, clean, beautiful, safe, friendly schools with adequate facilities to enhance physical, cultural and healthy recreational activities for students.
- Encourage and reward managers, teachers, staff and students with achievements in preventing school violence, crime and social evils.
At the same time, District 12 also specifically stipulates 10 tasks of the school and 7 tasks of the family to coordinate in preventing school violence, preventing crimes and social evils for students. In which, the role and responsibility of managers, teachers, staff, especially the role of homeroom teachers in coordinating with subject teachers to effectively prevent and prevent school violence, prevent crimes and social evils among students is enhanced.
The school can recommend local authorities and functional agencies to ensure security and order conditions in school areas and educational facilities, not allowing school violence, crimes and negative social evils to have a negative impact on the educational environment...
Families have the responsibility to build a cultural family, creating a favorable environment for the comprehensive development of their children's morality, intelligence, physical strength, and aesthetics...
Ms. Vo Thi Chinh, Vice Chairwoman of District 12 People's Committee, said that the promulgation of the regulations aims to ensure consistency in viewpoints, content, and educational methods, effectively implementing Directive No. 02/CT-TTg dated January 26, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening coordination between schools, families, and society in preventing school violence, preventing crimes and social evils among students.
