Initial information, on the afternoon of September 28, a group of technical staff were completing the main stage of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest at Phu Tho Stadium (Ward 15, District 11) when the automatic stage lighting system suddenly collapsed from a height of about 5 meters.

According to the reporter's records, the lighting system fell on the stage area and some rows of audience seats.

The incident left one technician slightly injured and several others scratched. After the incident, District 11 police and related units were present, coordinating to inspect the scene to clarify the cause.

Miss Cosmo 2024 is the first international beauty pageant held in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of representatives from more than 50 countries and territories around the world.

The stage at Phu Tho Stadium will be the venue for the semi-final (October 2) and final (October 5) of this competition.
