Hanoi National University has just issued a decision on assigning university enrollment targets for 2025 to its member schools.
Accordingly, the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi has the most regular university enrollment targets with 3,900 targets. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities ranks next with 2,650 targets and the University of Economics with 2,500 targets.
Specifically, Hanoi National University assigns enrollment targets for full-time university, part-time study, and second training programs (dual degrees) in 2025 to training units as follows:
In addition to the university system, in 2025, Hanoi National University will also enroll more than 3,600 master's training targets and more than 500 doctoral training targets with the targets of each training unit as follows:
In the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 (QS WUR by Subject 2025), Hanoi National University has made a strong breakthrough with 2 groups of subjects and 12 subjects ranked (of which 10/12 subjects are in the top 500). Of these, 5 subjects were ranked for the first time, 5 subjects increased their ranking position compared to the previous period and 1 subject was re-ranked.
Of these, 4 fields are in the top 400, 7 fields/field groups are ranked in the top 500.
The five fields in which Hanoi National University is included in the rankings for the first time include: Chemical Engineering (Engineering – Chemical) with a position in the top 401-450; Accounting & Finance (Accounting & Finance) with a position in the top 301-375; Environmental Sciences (Environmetal Sciences) with a position in the top 451-500; Sociology (Sociology) in the top 301-375; Law & Legal Studies (Law & Legal Studies) with a position in the top 351-400. Notably, the field of Mathematics (Mathematics) increased its ranking position and entered the world top 301-350 for the first time in this ranking.
Hanoi National University is also the only university in Vietnam ranked in the fields of: Sociology; Law and legal science.
